Have you ever gone to a cafe and paid a lot of money for haloumi fries? I have, but now that I know how simple they are to make I won’t need to do that anymore!
Ingredients
- 1 x 225g Block Haloumi
- 2 Tblsp plain flour
- Oil for shallow frying

Cut haloumi into fat chips, about 1cm x 1cm (mine made 16 fries), roll in flour and shallow fry in hot oil, turning every few seconds, until all sides are golden brown.
Drain on paper towel, allow to cool and firm up, and serve with your choice of sauce.
